When you sign in, we collect your email address through Google authentication. We do not store passwords.
We collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, features used, and AI queries submitted. This data helps us improve the Service.
When you use the contact form, we store your name, email, and message. Your IP address is used to rate-limit submissions, and a truncated representation of it is retained with your submission for abuse prevention.

Account data is retained while your account is active. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@opencivic.net.
